Gyrotonic® method was developed in 1977 by Hungarian dancer Juliu Horvath to rehabilitate his body, after he had debilitating injuries during his career as an accomplished dancer. Gyrotonic® emphasises spiral and circular movements and patterns with its unique rythmic breathing. Each movement is coordinated with specific breathing patterns to promote efficiency and focus during the exercise. It is gentle on the joints, enhances the body’s natural range of motion, increases mobility and coordination, while build muscular strength at the same time.
These exercises are performed on specialized equipments like Gyrotonic® Pulley Tower which is designed to support and guide the body through natural, harmonious motions. Whether you are an athlete, a beginner, or are recovering from an injury, Gyrotonic® can meet your unique needs.
